Sacred Tenderel Nyesel Bumpa Offering Ceremony

The Sacred Tenderel Nyesel Bumpa Offering Ceremony was held in Kathmandu on 15th April 2009. Dr. Lhakpa Norbu Sherpa, the president of Mountain Spirit chaired the program and Mr. Phuri Lama Sherpa, the general secretary of Mountain Spirit welcomed the participants.

After the welcome speech, Khenpo Ngawang Woser Lama highlighted the importance of the program while Tengboche Rinpoche Ngawang Tenzing Zangpo clarified the importance of Tendrel Nyesel bumpa.
In the next session, Bumpa was handed over to the different Himalayan region by Rinpoche Ngawang Tenzing Zangpo.

Mr. Norbu Ghale gave remarks from a Himalayan community representative. Dr. Lhakpa Norbu Sherpa concluded the program with vote of thanks. The total participation were more than 90 including some journalists and Television channel. The program was organized by The Mountain Institute (TMI), Mountain Spirit and The Himalayan Voices. The program was conducted by Executive member of Mountain Spirit, Mr.Lhakpa Tenji Lama.
